Our large room not only very pretty but overlooked winter garden and had view of the beautiful monastery.Bathroom good size as well. Room was spotless and staff were courteous and professional. Resturant located on the grounds was a delight, also a favorite for locals. Roaring fireplace was one more reason to drop in, even if all we wanted was a beer and some local atmosphere.

Intimate hotel was a fabulous surprise, set in beautiful grounds close to the Monastery.
Close to the airport, easy access by regular cheap trams, or taxis to Old Town and central Prague, ambience calm and soothing and a wonderful haven after bustle of the city.
Internet access available, staff are very welcoming and helpful, restaurant has a wonderful selection of reasonably priced local and international cuisine.
If you want to get away from the usual hotel formats and design and stay in a historic old building with a rich history, I would recommend the Hotel Adalbert highly.

Large monastery building, renovated in good grounds with large church beside small lake and with great restaurant.
Rooms excellent sizes all en suite, bed made daily,fresh towels.
Breakfast self service plenty on offer cereals, cheeses, cold meats,fruit , yoghurts, rolls and also sausage, eggs & bacon. Tea coffee all on demand throughout day from machine and free.
Internet access, helpful and friendly staff always willing to ring for taxi or restaurant. Restaurant well thought of as people came from all over to eat there and even if you were staying at the hotel you had to book, food excellent.
Trams and buses ran outside the grounds to take you into Prague but no outside noise from the road was disturbing.
Great hotel enjoyed it a change from all the plastic sameness.Certainly will go back.
